- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team to level the playing field, eliminating the draw option and often using half or quarter goal lines.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of budgeting and controlling the money you set aside for betting to avoid big losses.
- Bonus Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must bet a bonus before you can withdraw any winnings derived from it.
- Bookmaker Margin
- The built-in profit margin a sportsbook includes in the odds, ensuring they make a profit regardless of the result.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A wager on whether both sides will find the net at least once during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (win, draw, loss) in a single match.
- Free Bet
- A token provided by a sportsbook that lets you place a bet without using your own money; winnings are usually returned without the stake.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is already in progress, with odds that update in real time.
- Juice
- The commission a sportsbook charges on a bet, often built into the odds; also called vigorish.
- Line Movement
- The change in betting odds or point spreads over time as more bets are placed.
- Live Odds
- The constantly changing odds offered during a live event, reflecting the current state of the game.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win a match, with odds shown as a positive or negative number indicating the underdog or favorite.
- Odds Boost
- A promotion that increases the odds on a specific selection, offering a higher potential payout.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be more or less than a set number.
- Parlay
- Another term for an accumulator; a bet combining several selections where each must win to return a profit.
- Payout
- The total amount you receive when a bet wins, including the original stake and profit.
- Responsible Gambling Tools
- Features such as deposit limits, self-exclusion, and reality checks that help you stay in control of your betting activity.
- Settlement
- The process of finalizing a bet after an event ends, determining whether the bet won or lost.
- Stake
- The amount of money you put on a bet.
- Tipster
- A person or service that provides betting predictions and recommendations for upcoming matches.
- Unit
- A standardized amount of money used to measure the size of each bet, usually a small fraction of your total bankroll.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving an expected edge.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is canceled and the stake is returned, usually because the event did not occur as scheduled.
